Where is Sports Treatment based?

The clinic is located at Rillington, near Malton, North Yorkshire.

How soon can I get an appointment?

Usually within 1-3 working days depending on your availability.  If you are in severe pain we will endeavour to see you within 24 hours.  A mobile treatment service is also available.

Once your appointment has been made we will send you a reminder via SMS if you have supplied a mobile phone number at the time of booking.

Are appointments available outside of working hours?

Yes.  Saturday appointments are available. Other times are available on request.

How long will the appointment take?

60 minutes is allocated for the initial assessment and is dependant on the nature of your problem.

How many treatments will I need?

This will depend on your symptoms and will be discussed with you by your therapist at the initial appointment. If on assessment your symptoms require referrral, for example MRI scan / X-ray, we will inform you of this.

I need to cancel or re-arrange an appointment – how much notice do I need to give?

Call the clinic on 07815 209 804.  If less than 24 hours notice is given there may be a charge.

What shall I wear and do I need to undress?

Depending on your symptoms the therapist may require you to undress to your underwear for assessment purposes.  If you are uncomfortable with this, please bring shorts and a vest top.

Please shower before treatments but do not use any body lotions, creams or oils before your appointment.

Do you treat stroke patients and neurological conditions?

No, unless your symptoms are joint related or muscular in origin.

I have health insurance, what do I need to do?

Provide us with the private health insurance details before your appointment.
